This BELLHOUSING ADAPTER PLATE allows you to bolt a 1993 thru 1996 S10 T5 5-speed Transmission onto the early Chevy 216 that came with a floor shift 3 or 4-speed Transmission.

NOTE: The 3-speed column shift Transmissions had a different bolt pattern.

*We also sell the Adapter Plate for the 3-speed column shift application - Also listed on our website.

NOTE: You continue to use the stock Chevy 216 Flywheel, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, starter, and pilot bushing.
However, the clutch plate needs to be replaced with a 26-spline disc that matches the diameter of the original.


*This plate will also let you bolt on a 1996 to 2002 Camaro T5 from a 3800 V6 car. To do so, you just need to install a front bearing retainer from a 1993 to 1996 S10 T5. The Camaro shifter is about 12 inches further back than the S10 Transmission.

*This plate will also let you bolt on a 1983 to 1993 Ford T5. To do so, you just need to use a Chevy front bearing retainer on the Ford Transmission.
