MT401 Chevy 216/235 with 3-speed Bellhousing (1954 and Older) to Chevy S10 T5 (1993-1996)

Materials Included:

(1) Adapter plate - 1993-1996 Chevy S10 T5 to 1954 or older Chevy 216/235 w/ 3-speed
(4) FHSCS 3/8-16 x 1-1/4
(4) SHCS 7/16-14 x 1

This BELLHOUSING ADAPTER PLATE allows you to bolt a 1993 thru 1996 Chevy S10 T5 5-speed Transmission onto a 1954 and older Chevy with a 3-speed column shift Bellhousing. The 3 and 4-speed floor shift Transmissions used a different bolt pattern.

NOTE: This adapter can also be used to bolt on a 1983 thru 1993 Ford T5. You just need to use a Chevy front bearing retainer on the Ford Transmission so that you can continue to use the stock Chevy throw-out bearing, fork and pressure plate.
