If you plan on using a C4, be sure that you have the larger 164 tooth flexplate style bellhousing (Ford also made a 157 tooth version). An easy way to check that is by measuring across the inside of the bellhousing to see if the 14.25” O.D. of the 164 tooth flexplate will clear; the 157 tooth flexplate is about a full inch smaller.

Works well but the way I did was expensive.

Your supplied parts work well but due to my inexperience, the project was very expensive. AOD transmission are becoming rate. Had to get one from a Mustang with the short tail housing
This put the speedometer fitting directly behind the gear shifter which necessated the electric drive and an electric to mechanical drive to the original speedometer. Unit works well but added $400 of cost. The short tail housing on the Mustang leaves the u-joint deep in the X-Frame.
An long tail housing on the AOD from a Galaxy might solve both of the above problems.
Had to make a bell-crank for the cable controlled transmission pressure control.
Works well but it is expensive.
